2024-10-14

Do you know what kinds of wrapping paper there are? Generally speaking, according to their functions, they can be divided into ordinary wrapping paper, special wrapping paper, food wrapping paper, commodity printing wrapping paper, etc. So where are wrapping paper mainly used?

1. Single-coated paper

Single-coated paper is also called single-sided coated paper (single-glossy coated paper).

1. One side of the paper is glossy and the other side is matte, and only the glossy side can be printed;

2. It can print various colors, with no restrictions on colors;

3. The commonly used surface treatment processes after printing are: lamination, UV, hot stamping, and embossing.

2. Double-coated paper

Double-coated paper refers to double-sided coated paper. Double-sided coated paper is a type of coated paper, which is double-sided coated, and both sides have good smoothness. This material is relatively high-end in application, and Junye Packaging Printing is currently doing a good job.

1. Both sides of the paper are smooth and can be used for double-sided printing, while single-coated paper has only one side that is smooth. However, the stiffness and hardness of single copper are higher than those of double copper. Moreover, single copper is a bit yellowish, and the gloss is not as obvious as double copper;

2. The biggest difference from single copper paper is that it can be printed on both sides;

3. Common surface treatment processes after printing: lamination, UV, hot stamping, embossing, etc.

3. Corrugated paper

Corrugated paper is a smooth kraft paper and a wavy paper (collectively referred to as paper core) mounted together, which is one of the important materials for paper packaging.

1. It is straighter than ordinary paper and has stronger load-bearing capacity;

2. Commonly used are single corrugation, double corrugation, and triple corrugation;

3. Printing of various colors can be achieved, but the effect is not as good as single copper paper;

4. Common surface treatment processes after printing: lamination, UV, hot stamping, embossing.

4. Specialty paper

Specialty paper is paper with special uses and relatively small output. There are many types of specialty paper, which is a general term for various special-purpose papers or art papers.

1. There are many kinds of special paper, here we only talk about the ones we use in packaging materials: embossed paper, patterned paper, "Ningcai" pearlescent patterned paper, "Xingcai" metal patterned paper, gold paper, etc.;

2. These papers are specially treated to improve the texture and grade of the packaging;

3. Embossed and embossed papers cannot be printed, only hot stamping can be done on the surface, and star-colored and gold papers can be printed in 4 colors.

5. Cardboard

1. Used to make gift box structures, with a layer of single-powder paper or special paper on the surface;

2. Commonly used colors are black, white, gray, and yellow;

3. Cardboard thickness also has various levels, which can be selected according to load-bearing needs;

4. If the paper is mounted with single powder, the process is the same as that of the single-powder paper box. If the paper is mounted with special paper, most of them can only be hot stamped, and some can be simply printed, but the printing effect is not good.
